Former CEO now Executive Coach
Peter Gosline brings to each of his clients 30+ years of experience in governance, management, operations, and strategy, with a strong track record leading hospitals and other related health-care organizations.
During his career, he has served in a variety of organizational leadership roles, including hospital executive, consultant, volunteer, and 18 years as CEO. His passion is working with talented leaders to expand their influence, by developing their leadership strengths, helping them become more aware of their leadership presence, and working more effectively with their colleagues and their teams.
In 2014, Peter founded PLG Healthcare Consulting, providing strategic planning, special projects, and interim management; located in Magnolia, MA. 5 years later, he added an Executive Coaching practice for executives, physician leaders and managers. He works primarily with clients in hospitals and other not-for-profit organizations.

Professional Background & Training
Peter is a Life Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds an MBA from Cornell University, an MS in Community Health from the University of Rochester, and a BA in Psychology from Tufts University. He is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), certified by the ICF (International Coaching Federation).
He has authored articles and served on panels in regional, statewide, and national conferences. Following a successful career as a hospital executive, he has chosen to focus on executive and leadership coaching.
Interest in Coaching
Peter’s interest in coaching comes primarily from positive experiences he has had receiving coaching. In turn, he has enabled others to have access to coaching as well. While he was a CEO, Peter offered coaching resources to all members of his management team, with excellent results. He strongly believes that coaching can have a significantly positive impact on both an individual and an organization.
Personal Background
Peter is blessed with a successful marriage, and he and his wife Connie have raised four wonderful children. He grew up in a healthcare family, with parents and grandparents having successful careers in medicine, nursing and healthcare administration. Over the course of his career, he has also focused on volunteer service to others, especially within his local community.
